Doors of Hearst Castle

We recently took a Moonlight Art Walk of the Hearst Castle in San Simeon, CA. We had visited the castle several times during the day, but it was an entirely different and magnificent experience at night. While not a door specifically, the entry way from the 10- deep indoor pool to the more shallow pool, highlighted by ceiling lights, welcomes the swimmer to a new realm. Billed as the largest gate/door of the castle, it welcomes guests into the Refectory which is the only formal dining room of the castle. From what I can gather, the gate is a 16th-century iron gate from Spain. It is safe to say that there is no such gate into my dining 'area.'
